The British Business Chamber of Croatia (BBCC) and the Foreign Investors Council of Croatia (FICC) have agreed to work together on their shared vision of improving the general business climate in the Republic of Croatia related to foreign investments.

The FICC is a non-profit, independent business association founded in December 2011 which represents foreign investors through cooperation and dialogue with government institutions and business associations.

FICC aims to contribute to the creation of a more friendly environment for investors in Croatia as well as a more favorable climate for business. The focus is on ensuring legal predictability, efficient administration, transparency and support at the national and local level.

“We look forward to working alongside the FICC to represent British and other overseas investors to really make a difference to how businesses can operate and thrive in this market. Partnerships like this are a key part of our work on behalf of our members,” said BBCC President Paul Suchar.

“Besides publishing the White Book, which is the traditional voice of foreign investors with specific recommendations to the government, we organise regular roundtables with representatives of the public administration, ministries and other public stakeholders which our BBCC partner and its members are always welcome to join,” said FICC Secretary General Tomislav Šlat.
